Are you a retail store or a coffee shop?

We are both! We are a traditional surf/bodyboard/skate shop offering new and used boards, wetsuits, clothing, hardware, wax, towels, skate gear and more! We also serve beautiful coffee using AMANTI beans, hot chocolates, vanilla and chai lattes, tea, cold drinks and treats. Perfect post surf or to get the coffee hit you need to get through the day!

Will I get good advice at The Slab Lab?

At The Slab Lab we offer a safe and inclusive environment for board riders of all levels and knowledge bases. We aim to give advice and sell you equipment that will suit your level and ability. Our products are amazing quality, and most are tried and tested by ourselves or our elite team of product testers (our mates!) We won’t lead you up the garden path, we are here to get you up and riding and playing safely in the ocean or on the concrete!

Do you sell second hand boards?

Yes we do! We offer a range of second hand surfboards & bodyboards in a variety of sizes and conditions to suit all budgets and requirements.

Our second hand boards are sourced via consignment or directly purchased and placed for sale in store. Terms and conditions for sale and purchase of second hand boards can be viewed in store.

If you have a board you would like to sell please visit us in store to discuss. Photo ID is required and terms and conditions must be met in order to place boards up for sale.

Consignment fee is 25% of sale price

Please provide boards in a clean/watertight condition with wax removed. A fee maybe charged for wax removal.

Brands we stock can be found on our home page. We like to support core independent brands as much as possible so when you visit The Slab Lab you’ll be treated to a variety of core surf gear and equipment.

Returns & Exchanges

Our returns and exchanges policy can be found in store at The Slab Lab. Please retain all digital receipts to ensure that returns and exchanges can be approved. Refunds are at the discretion of the staff and will not be issued for change of mind. Boards and wetsuits maybe returned for major faults but not for damaged sustained by purchaser. All returns and exchages will be assessed by staff and are not gaurenteed.
